But first we're going to start you out with a little something to get your creativity flowing! Here's Karen's tutorial for creating metallic embellishments.
Using
Embossing Powder
VIP: Versamark Ink Pad;
EP: Embossing
Powder; UTEE: ultra thick embossing enamel
Apply VIP to a flower die cut and sprinkle with EP, use heat gun to melt.
Be very careful because the EP is very hot at this point.
After the first layer of EP has melted and cooled, apply VIP and EP, heat again.

After the second layer of EP has cooled apply

Using Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel
Ink up you die cut with the VIP and sprinkle the UTEE
granules over the top.
You can see how big the UTEE granules are and how more they cover. Melt UTEE.
Once cool, repeat this step at least once, but
preferably, twice more.
Be very careful because the UTEE is
very hot at this point.
The finished UTEE piece - love that shine!
On the left is the UTEE piece and on the right is the
EP.
One thing you need to be
aware of when creating these embellishments is that the die cut with the four
layers of the EP tends to crack. Great
if you want that look but not so good if you don’t!
